No. The adjustable strap is designed to stay put through a full night of tossing and turning, and it won't dig into your ears the way thin elastic straps do. If you've had a mask end up on the floor by 3am or woken up with sore ears, that's exactly what we engineered around.

We don't make vague "sleep better" promises. What's actually backed by research: blocking light during sleep is linked to higher melatonin and lower cortisol, and deep sleep is when your body does most of its physical repair work. What we won't claim: that a mask alone will dramatically change how long or how well you sleep, the strongest study on that found no measurable difference. We'd rather undersell than overclaim.
